Dr. Linsen DU joins VCLS China as General Manager. She brings over 15 years of experience in biopharmaceutical industry and regulatory science to this role.
Before joining VCLS, Dr. Du was the Vice President of BravoVax (Wuhan, China), a start-up company specialized in human vaccine development. For over five years, she served as the Head of Regulatory and Medical Affairs team and later expanding the similar responsibility for project management of the company. While in BravoVax, she played a major role in directing the development of multiple biologics including rotavirus vaccine, pneumococcal conjugate vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine. Dr. Du has significant experience in interactions with regulatory agencies as well as KOLs in vaccinology and public health in China. She has led two vaccine products IND filing in China. In addition, she helped the company to grow portfolios and support business development by establishing the partnerships with several organizations globally. Dr. Du served as the core scientific committee member of the company to support CMC, non-clinical and clinical strategies. She has hands-on experience in lab management and technology platform management.
Prior to joining BravoVax, Dr. Du worked in Covance (Now Labcorp Drug Development) central laboratory service (Singapore), a leading global contract research organization. Serving as the Lead Scientist for APAC region, she helped various pharmaceutical clients with custom clinical immunological assay development, validations and testing in central labs, and she also supported general laboratory operations by hosting client visits and sponsor/regulatory audits.
Dr. Du received a BA from Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China), she pursued her graduate study in Singapore and received Ph.D in Biological Sciences from National University of Singapore. She also had Postdoc training in translational research in Cancer Science Institute of Singapore (Singapore) in her early career.
Dr. Du has a strong commitment and passion for biomedical sciences and pharmaceutical industry. With her experience in drug development in both MNC and local Chinese companies, she aspires to work with VCLS team to deliver innovative medical solutions to patients together in the next stage of her career.
