4. Retention
4.1 Your personal data is only retained for the time necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes for which they are processed by VCLS through the Website and in accordance with any applicable legal or regulatory prescriptions.

- Data described listed under 2.2: For the time of the contractual relationship (if any), or for three (3) years from the collection or last interaction with you for marketing purposes unless objection
- Data described under 2.3: For two (2) years for candidates whose application has been rejected except where the candidate consented to the renewal of the retention period
- Data described under 2.4: For thirteen (13) months and further as anonymous data
4.3 At the end of the aforementioned periods of retention, the personal data will be deleted or anonymized by VCLS.
4.4 You are informed that VCLS may however retain your personal data in archive mode for a longer period than the aforementioned period of retention only to comply with any of its legal or regulatory obligations or where required by any applicable statute of limitation to evidence a right or an agreement.
5. Transfer within the VCLS group and to sub-contractors
5.1 As an international group, VCLS may make data available to its teams outside the EEA (United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, India, China and Madagascar) only if necessary for the performance of the services. Acting as data processor, VCLS can also be instructed by controllers to transfer personal data outside of the EEA. You are informed that VCLS has implemented instruments to ensure that your personal data will receive an adequate level of protection:
- All VCLS members regardless of their offices’ location are trained on data protection and GDPR;
- All VCLS entities have entered into the latest Standard Contractual Clauses (approved by the European Commission and Swiss authorities) and UK Addendum to the Standard Contractual Clauses (approved by the UK authorities) where required;
- All VCLS system is subject to the same level of security and protection piloted directly from VCLS HQ in France;
- VCLS conducts data protection impact assessment on data transfers as necessary.
5.2 VCLS may appoint third-party subcontractors for support of its activities (including the company hosting the Website) which may need to process your personal data. We use a variety of legal mechanisms to safeguard the transfer including the Standard Contractual Clauses, as well as additional safeguards where appropriate.

6.1 Taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of processing as well as the risk of varying likelihood and severity for the rights and freedoms of natural persons, VCLS has adopted the appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to that risk and has taken the necessary precautions to preserve the security and confidentiality of data and in particular prevent them from being distorted, damaged or communicated to unauthorized persons. – Offer the most relevant guarantees to stakeholders (staff member, clients, partners…) regarding access and security to information processed by/for VCLS.
– Define a structured framework for VCLS’s employees, partners, and customers, in accordance with regulations, legal obligations within the VCLS’s business field.
– Regularly identify and assess risks potentially impacting the information security (authentication, assets, data transfers and applications…) to maintain appropriate protection for the VCLS’s business.
– Guarantee the continuity of VCLS’s processes by protecting them from disruptions and guaranteeing a proper recovery time if any.
– Make IT security a competitive advantage for the VCLS group.
This policy depends on changes (regulatory, economic, competitive, etc.) This is the reason why it is reviewed each year during the ISMR (Information Security Management Review) to redefine orientations, objectives, and indicators.
To guarantee the application of this policy,
