This year, we are taking another step forward, updating our reporting format with an ESG mindset. We’ve achieved significant milestones across various areas of environmental impact, social commitment and governance transparency.

Pioneering Pathways to a Sustainable Tomorrow: Our UN Global Compact Commitment
In 2021, VCLS joined the UN Global Compact initiative. We have incorporated the 10 Principles of the Global Compact into the various aspects of our day-to-day business, to ensure that we operate in a way that meets or exceeds our fundamental responsibilities in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption.

Silver Award from EcoVadis
We received 60% average scores in each of the assessment sections: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
HappyIndex® AtWork
With 78.8% participation, we obtained an overall global score of 4.11/5 and a recommendation rate of 61.5%. We achieved the HappyIndex® criteria in Denmark, France, Madagascar, the UK, and India.
WeImpactIndex®
This certification highlights the growing importance of ESG topics to our employees. This is an area where we aim to build and improve over the coming years.

We act in different ways to protect the planet and operate our business sustainably. At VCLS, we focus on the areas where we can have the greatest impact, which include carbon, energy, water, and waste.
Energy & Waste Reduction
We decreased our energy consumption through the implementation of Green IT. Additionally, we reduced waste generation by 20% by enhancing our recycling programs with Cedre.
Action on Climate
We use an effective tool, “The Climate Fresk,” for climate education and advocacy across all of our sites.
