As a Director in the U.S. Market Access Team, Randy is responsible for the development of Voisin Consulting Life Sciences (VCLS) health economics, outcomes research and market access client engagement opportunities. He works with both U.S. and international clients to help them understand the early implications of clinical and economic evidence for market access and when considering product commercialization.
Randy brings to the role more than 24 years of experience in market access, health economics, patient outcomes, pricing and reimbursement strategy development working in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, diagnostics, digital health and medical device industries. During that time, he gained particular expertise in the development and management of client health economics, outcomes research, pricing and reimbursement strategy. He also has experience of value commercialization and modeling for a digital health platform for type 2 diabetic patients, as well as policy development for pre-diabetes.
Before joining VCLS, Randy worked as a Senior Director of HEOR, Market Access and Reimbursement for McCann Health/ Consulting at McCann Health (New York). Prior to joining McCann, Randy was a Director of HEOR, Market Access, Reimbursement for Scientia Advisors (Precision for Medicine/Precision for Health, (Boston, MA). Previously Randy worked for WellDoc, Inc, (Baltimore, MD), where he was employed as Senior Director of HEOR, Reimbursement Strategy, Value Dossier Development (Baltimore, MD.)
Randy received both his master’s degree as well as his PhD in Healthcare Administration and Policy (Health Economics) from Harvard University, Chan School of Public Health. His dissertation was in the delivery of patient care in developing economies. Randy is also a fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives and has published several papers on HEOR trends both here in the U.S. and in Europe. He has presented numerous times at ISPOR international HE conferences and contributed to the health economic models that were included in the Affordable Care Act.
